Boise State senior-to-be Matt Miller was named Tuesday to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, given annually to the top wide receiver in college football.
Miller is coming off a season in which he ranked tied for 10th in the NCAA with 12 touchdown catches and set a school single-season record with 88 receptions.
The native of Helena, MT, also finished with a career-high 1,140 yards receiving, the third-most in a single-season in Boise State history.
In addition, Miller has caught at least one pass in each of the Broncos' 39 games over the last three seasons, the longest such streak in the NCAA.
Miller needs just 14 catches this coming fall to surpassed Austin Pettis (229 career receptions) as the school's all-time leader.
Miller is one of fifty-five of the nation's best receivers competing for the Biletnikoff Award.
The award is named in honor of Fred Biletnikoff, who was an All-American at Florida State and an All-Pro receiver with the Oakland Raiders, and will be presented live on December 11, 2014, on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show to be broadcast from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on ESPN.
